NORTHUMBRIA Blue Badge Tourist Guides
are trained and examined in writing and practically - on foot, on site and on coaches - for the whole region. |
From the wild scenery of the border country to the industrial heritage of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumbria is a fascinating region of contrasts. Contact one of our guides for a fascinating tour of the northernmost outpost of the Roman Empire, Hadrian’s Wall, and hear about a soldier’s life 2,000 years ago.
Northumbria also offers miles of pristine beaches and some of the most important early Christian sites in England such as Lindisfarne Priory and Durham Cathedral. There are many magnificent castles, and we can even take you to one where Harry Potter played quidditch! In the cities of Newcastle and Gateshead we offer a range of walks and tours from ghostly tales to art galleries and museums.
