A Reduced subscription is available for members who receive their monthy mailing via the Intrernet


Other Membership Categories include

Dual Membership
This applies to two members living at the same address and sharing literature. The subscription represents a discount on two single Member fees.
Affiliate
Guides who are temporarily not practising (not of retiring age) and who wish to maintain their connection with the Guild, but not as a full Member.
Group Membership
Available to local tourist guide associations, other than London.
Student
Any person following an approved course of study. This category is available for a maximum of two years
Honorary Member
A person who, in the opinion of the Executive Council, has supported the Guild and helped its members. No membership subscription applies to this category.
Fellow
A member with at least ten years unbroken membership, who, in the opinion of the Executive Council, has given long and valuable service to the Guild. A member may apply for Fellowship or be invited to do so by the Executive Council.
Life Fellow
A member with at least ten years unbroken membership, who, in the opinion of the Executive Council, has rendered exceptional service to the Guild and to the Tourist Industry. The consideration and granting of Life Fellowship is a matter solely within the discretion of the Executive Council.
Honorary Fellow
A public figure who, in the opinion of the Executive Council, has rendered important services to the Guild and its members. No Membership Subscription applies to this category.
Retired
Fellows or Members who have fully retired from Guiding, but wish to retain a link with the Guild and Guiding.
