Local Heroes
Starting at 10.30
Meet at the West door of Great St Mary's Church, King's Parade
Based on the famous Blue Plaques in London, Cambridge has started to erect plaques that commemorate people of national importance. Many of these are in the historic city centre, and Cambridge Guides are offering free walks
No booking needed (although places can be reserved via the TIC website).

Salisbury
Sunday 19th |
Free guided walk of the mediaeval Market Square, including a visit to St Thomas's Civic Church
Starting at 14.30.
Meeting at the Tourist Information Centre in Fish Row.
The tour ends at the Swan office in Milford Street for tea, courtesy of Abbey Stores.
Money is being raised for the South Wiltshire Advocacy Network (SWAN), supported by Councillor Patrick Paisey, the 745th Mayor of Salisbury.

Two Cotswold & Gloucestershire Guides will be giving their services on this day.
Hazel Butler is conducting an historical walk around the village of Prestbury for a group of retired clergy from a local residential home.
Mary Badger is organising a Cotswold tour with a group from a Day Centre in Winchcombe on the 20th February. A local paper, the Gloucestershire Echo are intending to publicise this with an article and photograph.
